How Long

One day a young boy asks his father how long it will be before the Lord comes to rapture the Church and take them up into Heaven.
The father often spoke to his boy and his brothers about this promised event, so this boy was curious when this day would happen.
The father knew that his child could only understand the timing of the rapture by using an idea that the boy was familiar with, therefore the father explains the concept of a prearranged trip.
Every year the father would make arrangements to go visit his parents that lived far away, and his children were always excited about the trip because they loved to go to their grandparent’s house.

Preparations were usually made about a month in advance, therefore the children would have lots of time to ponder on the day they were to make their departure.

As is routine for children the anticipation about seeing their grandparents made them very enthusiastic, and then their enthusiasm generally leads to that dislikable impatience, as they wait for the day they would set off on their journey.

The father explains to his boy that the rapture of the Church is like a trip to grandma and grandpa’s house, he reminds him that on the day that he and his brothers first hear they are going to make the trip they get all antsy and eager for the big day.

They know that their journey will only be a few weeks away but the waiting always seems like it takes forever to them.

One day goes by and then another, excitement grows but it seems like eternity is passing, and then, all of a sudden, the day arrives.

They load up and jump into the car, and then off to grandma and grandpa’s place they go.

That experience is similar to the day of the rapture, the wait has been what bears resemblance to forever, one day after another goes tumbling by, it is like getting a taste of eternity already, then one day the trumpet will sound, and caught up into God’s presence we will be.

Glorified bodies for all that are caught up, like Christ we will be, his Father is getting ready to greet us, it all began when Eve ate from the tree.

The Church has been waiting for a very long time for the Lord to come to the edges of Heaven to give the shout for the Bride of Christ to come up and be with him.

Some experience that enraptured sensation when they are taken by surprise by a false trumpet sounding, they hear what sounds like an angel’s horn blowing, but are disappointed when they learn it is only the factory across town blowing its whistle that ends their work day.

For a second or two they hope it is the trumpet of God calling the dead in Christ to rise and meet the Lord in the air, and in their excitement, they expect to be next.

Their ecstasy fades quickly, their exultation is put on pause, patiently they must wait for Christ to get his applause.

A lot has been going on in the world lately.

The world cannot slow down as it races ahead with remarkable speed.

It is like a volcano ready to explode.

North Korea is making its threats, it vows to send nuclear missiles at the United States.

Kim Jong-un says he will fire four intermediate-range missiles and skim the coastline of Guam, an unincorporated US territory since 1898; showing that he is not afraid of the American military.

The bible indicates the world will suffer from large scale nuclear devastation, but this appears to be after the Church of Christ is raptured; it will be in the Tribulation Period.

Some newscasters are discussing a nuclear confrontation between the USA and North Korea; it seems plausible, maybe probable.

Tensions are rising as the US President vows that he will not put up with any threats coming out of Pyongyang; it could get nasty.

In America, the deep state is trying everything they can to bring down the sitting president.

The deep state does not have the American peoples interest in mind, but only their selfish desire to usher in the one world government that the Western governments have already set up and is ready to be officially established.

The Trump card has them beat for the time being but according to biblical prophecy the one world government will be established, so only God knows what will bring about the shift.

Christ said that nations will be in distress within their borders, and the American Republic will not be an exception.

People do not seem to know right from wrong anymore. Good is bad and bad is good.

What is up with this saying, “My bad.”

Who came up with this stupid phrase to say you made a mistake anyways?

How do you like driving in the city lately?

Does everyone have eyes in the top of their head now?

You will not see it in the mainstream media but thousands of migrants have been rushing the boarders of Italy and Spain the past few weeks—they are all men of military age by the way.

When they rush past the border guards they then disappear into the streets.

The No-Go-Zones in the United Kingdom and all over Western Europe, the ones that the politicians and the mainstream media say do not exist, are nothing more than Muslim controlled war zones, and from on-line news reports they look worse than any ghetto in America.

The world does not know the difference between a boy and a girl, or a man and a woman anymore.

In Canada, federal lawmakers are drafting up a Bill to enforce laws that in the end will send people to prison if they refuse to use invented gender pronouns—there is no more he/she or him/her in that nation.

Ontario, Canada, just passed a law that will have the children’s aid services take away children from their parents if they insist that their boy is a boy, or their girl is a girl; and then the province will have the parent charged with a criminal offense where the threat of imprisonment is very possible.

The Apostle Paul predicted correctly when he said that the days leading up to the rapture would be terrible times.

This generation loves nobody but themselves, pride is the number one characteristic of most people.

Children have nothing but disrespect for their parents, although many parents today are to blame for that.

We are living in an unholy world right now, and I just wonder how worse it will get before the trumpet of God sounds.

We go one day at a time, I suggest, for the departure day is not far away, the waiting may seem like it is taking forever but I predict the angel of God has the trumpet of God near his mouth.

We need to not lose our excitement of suddenly being lifted out of here.

  1. Yes we all should have the same child like excitement we once had towards the most anticipated event of all time; the coming of the Lord. Very good read. I love how you update us on the raw truth while still keeping a positive tone. We need more writers like you. God bless!
