The Convenience Store

An elderly man walked into a convenience store looking to buy a quart of coffee cream, this happened just after he spent the last half hour getting a haircut at the barbershop a couple of blocks away; he knows that if he goes home without cream for his coffee his wife will not be happy.

As he steps inside through the automatic glass doors he sees a number of people that look like they have just seen something ghostly, everyone had the look of fright upon their face.

The elderly man did not know what to think about what he was seeing, so he came to a quick and sudden stop, and as a result he lost all feeling in his legs and torso, his body froze, but he was able to muster up enough courage to ask the closest person to him, “What is going on?”

A young boy, about fifteen years old, responded to the elderly man and said that there was a woman beside him that instantly vanished, then another person in the store said that the lady by him just disappeared too.

The guy behind the store counter shouted, “Did anyone hear that loud bang?” “It sounded like a jet breaking the sound barrier,” he continued with a crackling voice. Then everyone else in the store agreed with what he declared.

“When did this happen?” asked the elderly man frantically, and the young boy replied, “just as you walked through the doors.”

Rapture scenarios; I love to talk about them, or discuss them with people that are just as excited about that day as I am, and simply, I just like very much to put them to story, because there will be thousands of different situations that people will be in when the trump of God sounds, and I can only imagine how each one will transpire.

I sometimes wonder what I will be doing when I hear the loud command from heaven, will I be watching TV, will I be sound asleep, or will I be praying when I hear the voice of the archangel?

I think it would be great if the rapture happens during the night, while I am sound asleep, because at first it might seem like I am only deep in a dream, and then when I find out that I am not dreaming but that the experience is real it may just seem all that more exciting—my soul will be enraptured.

How come we do not hear any teaching about the rapture in church, it seems to be a taboo subject within the presence of those called to believe; a prohibited topic among the redeemed.

I wonder if God approves of the excuses used to repress talk about the greatest day of the believer after they receive salvation, the day when the believer’s salvation is finally completed?

The rapture of the Church is the day when Christ comes to get his bride, to take her home to the place he has been preparing, a place where his bride will be with him forever.

Why would the Church not want to hear as much information about this day as they possibly can, have you ever heard of a woman that does not get excited about her wedding day?

If a woman does not get excited about her wedding day then the bridegroom has chosen the wrong woman to spend the rest of his life with.

What is wrong with a minister that does not teach the people in his care about the rapture, is he on a different path than what he is called to, does he have a personal agenda that does not fit into the plan of God?

Oh; Jesus said to go and make disciples, your excuse is that you are fulfilling the great commission, baptizing new converts and teaching them to obey everything the Lord has commanded, and yet, you do not even do what the Lord has commanded you to do.

The Lord has commanded those whom he has called to minister, to teach the people in their care endless Holy Scripture relating to the rapture, the seven-year tribulation period, and the second coming of the Christ, in this time period which is just like the days of Noah and Lot—this is the teaching that is to be prevalent in these times.

When the fig tree, the nation of Israel, was reestablished as an independent nation on, May 14, 1948, it was the starting time to initiate the preaching of Holy Scripture that pertains to these most holy events mentioned above which are firmly stamped onto God’s calendar, it is his timetable and not his servant’s schedule, it is God’s agenda and not the personal program of those put in charge of God’s household; the fulfillment of this prophetic event, the rebirth of Israel, was the wake-up notice that announced the season in which the bride of Christ is to get ready for the rapture, because it is the season when Christ will appear and come to redeem the remnant of Israel.

It is not hard to argue that the Church is living at the end of its age, the world is living in a time that is just like the days of Noah, and Lot, as violence fills the earth, as Sodom and Gomorrah has made a resurgence and is thriving in the world,  fallen angels are not only producing Nephilim with woman but they have even taught man how to create hybrid people by crossbreeding two or more organisms of different species or genera—much of science and technology has come to man through interaction with fallen angels.

The Church is supposed to be wise and be prepared for her bridegroom to arrive, the Apostle Paul said his job was to betroth the Church to Christ and prepare her as a chaste virgin to him, a wise virgin will be committed to her bridegroom’s arrival and not just see it as a terrible inconvenience, or to have the disgusting attitude that the Lord’s coming will happen when it happens.

We do not know the day and hour of the rapture not so we can make excuses not to be ready, but so that we can be ready for his arrival.

The Church gets ready for the rapture by knowing everything about this day as she possibly can, by tenaciously studying the Scriptures, hoping that this hour will occur today because we have the knowledge that when we are taken-up our salvation is finally completed, and when the Christ appears we will be like him after being dressed in a glorified body; then the prophecy will be fulfilled where we will be saved spirit, soul and body—no more sinful flesh to contend with.

If the Church has no desire in her heart to meet the Lord in the clouds today than she is not ready for the rapture, she is like the foolish virgin that has no oil in her vessel so she can welcome her bridegroom when he arrives.

If the Church would rather have the Lord come back at a later date, like after her personal agenda is finished, or once her earthly desires are fulfilled, than she is not wise but foolish.

Even if the Lord were to come and receive his bride today but her desire is not in his appearing, then she is not ready to meet the Lord whenever this glorious day and hour occurs.

The Lord has pinpointed the time for us when he will come to redeem the nation of Israel, he has revealed the season of the rapture, he is not coming back at the Church’s convenience but on his own timetable.
